Physical Development

We give children plenty of time to explore, experiment and refine movements and actions. Physical development of young children is encouraged through provision of opportunities for them to be active like playing on slide and see-saw jumping on trampoline bouncing the ball throwing and catching the ball. Dancing, music and movement improving their skills of co-ordination, control, manipulative and movement.

Nutrition is another important part of Physical development. Malnutrition can lead to various problems, it can hinder the child's achievement of developmental milestones. In our Play group section we try and make nutritive and wholesome meals for our children. In Nursery, Junior KG and Senior KG we encourage children to bring nutritive homemade lunches instead of junk food.

Emotional Development

Children are provided with experiences and support which will help them to develop a positive sense of themselves and of others. Our caregivers do not miss an opportunity to give positive encouragement to our children.

Social Development

We plan activities for children to work alone and in small and large groups. Interaction among the group with peer and interaction with adults-the caregivers is encouraged at all times to enable them to relate well to adults and peers. Speech and language is an important aspect of social development.
The opportunities to speak, listen and represent ideas in their activities are provided. We use communication language in every part of curriculum. Children soon learn to listen to others when they speak and wait for their turn to speak.

Intellectual Development

The three R's Reading, WRiting and ARithmetic are taken care of. Various activities are planned in play way method to develop pre-reading, pre-writing and maths skills.

A lot of activities for fine finger co-ordination and eye hand co-ordination are done.

Caregivers create a purposeful and enjoyable mathematical learning. Numbers are made interesting through games, children enthusiastically join in all mathematical activities in class. Children are given hands on experience by encouraging them use counters and flash cards to understand the abstract mathematical concepts.

Problem Solving & Reasoning

We support children in developing their understanding of problem solving and reasoning in a broad range of contexts in which they can explore, enjoy, learn, practice and talk about their developing understanding.

Knowing the world around

Children are encouraged to use their sense organs to perceive the world around them. They are supported in developing the knowledge, skills and understanding that help them make sense of the world.
Learning is not confined only to 4 walls of the class rooms but by taking them out for field trips.

Enrichment Programmes for Parents

Little Learners Academy organises workshops and talks by resource people like Nutritionists and Child Counsellor. The Principal Mrs Shamim Deshmukh also shares her experiences in the form of workshops to parents empowering them with knowledge.
