Why do we have Pinku as our LLA Mascot
Pinku is a penguin. Penguin is a flightless bird, highly evolved to swim. There are many great qualities that penguins have and that’s what has lowered us into having the penguin to be the mascot of Little Learners Academy.
Some of the good qualities about penguins are:
1. They live in communities which signifies sociability.
2. they are loyal to their partners which signifies sense of belonging.
3. they are loving parents to their babies signifies emotions.
4. they are creative when it comes to building their nest is their nest are made up of rocks and different feathers arranged well to keep warm and look good with signifies creativity.
5. they care for their babies. Alternatively, the penguin lays the egg, the penguin hatches it. They go out alternately to get food. They regurgitate food to feed their baby. This signifies care cooperation and gender equality.
6. little learners, Academy is striving hard to inculcate these and many more attributes in their children.
Lets See what he did in School
One day when I came to Little Learners Academy from my far away snowy land, I decided to go to Play Group class. The Play Group class is very warm and cosy with our loving Leena teacher.
We all gathered at the main gate and Leena Teacher wished Good Morning to each of us and took us in! Vow! When we entered inside we saw our seating arrangement was like the boggies of the engine with the engine leading ahead into a big ball pool. The ball pool is full of colourful balls.
There were so many soft toys hung around in the room. Cartloadsof games and puzzles!. I also saw a red ladder to climb up and go into the treehouse. My God!!! I felt I was in wonderland. At first I was uneasy and quiet but then Leena teacher made me comfortable.
She promised me and my friends that she will take us back to Mummy. She made us sing and dance, paint and colour!!!! We enjoyed and had fun to the brim. Now we were hungry, thirsty and also wanted to go to the wash room.
My friend was crying but teacher made him comfortable. After going to the washroom; we all had our yummy delicious meal!! Aha! We were feeling nice but now we all wanted to go back to our Mommy! Teacher soon took us out!!
Hey!! Today I want to go to Nursery class .. Good Morning Sneha Teacher I said and Sneha teacher wished me back, Good Morning Pinku!! . I was thrilled my teacher knows not only my name but all my friend s names also!! I wonder how does she remembers so many names? Vow! Nursery class is like entering in the sea, like the Juhu beach.
After free play we sang and danced for sometime. We were tired we wanted to drink water from our water bags. Our teachers and didis gave it to us and we quenched our thirst.
We were now ready for the next game. Teacher gave us some puzzles to play with! Wah it was real fun!! Now our teachers wrote something and we repeated after her! She now made us do the same exercise in our lovely colourful work books!! After this we were longing for our breakfast.
Mummy has given me Idli and Chutney! Hmm!! We all washed our hands and then had breakfast from our lunch boxes!! Now we knew it was time to go home!! Soon teacher took us to our Mummy at the gate.
Pinku has graduated to Junior KG Please may I come in Teacher!! I said and Kavita and Sayli Teacher welcomed me to the Junior KG class. Now Pinku will be four years old, no one cries in Junior KG, we are all big children.
Here as we enter we have a long hall leading into a shorter one which has a lovely Grapewine with so many soft toys hanging around. Here we have a tall rack of books, colours and crayon boxes!! I asked teacher if she could give me one.
She said Oh! Pinku these are for you and your friends! Our Shamim Ma am has got them for us!! I was thrilled!!
We begin our day with prayers some chit chat among ourselves and teachers. Soon after that teacher taught us the Parachute dance!! What fun!! We laughed and played!!
There after teacher told us a story and we understood that alphabets have sounds! We all wanted a break she agreed and we lined up to wash our hands! After having our breakfast!! We did some writing, sang a few songs and it was time to go!! You know what, I wanted to stay back!!
Now Pinku has grown further!! Pinku is now in Senior KG, the last class in Little Learners.
Pinku is a big boy!! I came in wishing my same Kavita and Sayli teacher Good Morning!! After Prayers our teacher was going to tell us something very important, we were to discuss the remaining part today and I had got the information which she asked us to get! We were all excited and waiting for her to begin the class when we heard her talk to one of my classmates-Early to bed early to rise makes us all healthy wealthy and wise. Yes, sure I will not be late to school!!
Soon our discussion started and most of us participated it was so much of new to learn Kavita Teacher also announced a field trip next week. She explained about it in detail and we all listened to her carefully.
Now it was Maths time followed by EVS so we were very busy doing our work! Yes, we did get a break in between which we enjoyed thoroughly chattering away like monkeys! Just as all good things end our class for today ended with joy of knowledge and information which we acquired, but looking forward to coming back to school tomorrow, well in time!! Good Bye!!
